WEEK 3 FYP (SEM 2)

Objective            :
  • ·         To Brief on FYP Progress, FYP Assessment & FYP Project Progress.
  • ·         To make sure everyone attend the FYP Briefing.


Content/Procedure        :
  • ·         All FYP Degree Sem 2 students are required to attend the briefing as follow

o   Date      : 28th February 2014 (Friday)
o   Time      : 3.00pm – 4.00pm
o   Venue    : TTL2
  • ·         The attendance is Compulsory.


Result/Analysis :
       1)      This meeting was held by FYP committee :
Ø  Miss Nurul Fazlin Binti Roslan
Ø  Dr. Muhammad Noor Bin Nordin
  
       2)      FYP Logbook & Progress :
Ø  Students need to update the logbook / blog regularly.
Ø  Students can refer to the assessment criteria.
Ø  FYP progress should be implementation of prototype.

       3)      FYP Attendance :
Ø  Students must meet Supervisor for consultation (min. 5 times)
Ø  Attendance that below than 80% will be barred.

       4)      FYP Assessment :
Ø  Progress report (blog)                                                   20%
Ø  Presentation & Demonstration                                       40%
Ø  Final Year Project Report                                              40%
Ø  Total                                                      :                    100%

       5)      Industry Day :
Ø  Presentation and Demonstration of FYP Prototype will be held on week 14, Friday (16/5/2014).
Ø  Students have to prepare FYP poster and prototype.

        6)      Final project report :
Ø  Student should submit the draft of complete project report to FYP supervisor on week 15.
Ø  Students can print the final project report in hard cover once there is no grammar error in the report content.
Ø  Students must refer assessment criteria for report format.

Conclusion          :
For the conclusion on this week, the briefing was done by Miss Nurul Fazlin bin Roslan. The contents of briefing were clearly understood by students. The objective was successfully achieved.
