Activities     : Week 3 involves is to List the information that needed to find regarding of the project. I have to find what is the device related to my project.

• RF Transmitter and Receiver details
• Alarm circuit details that is connected to the transmitter and receiver circuit
• The tracker devices that is needed to attach into this circuit
• The range that RF(Radio Frequency) can reach.
• Gain the information from what i have learn in degree.

Critical Part on Wireless project

Since this is wireless, the problem that will come off from the wireless signal should be take noted because there should have some problem with signal range and blocked that needed to be fixed.

WEEK 2 FYP

Objectives   : To register the fYP title & Supervisor
Activities     : On this week, we have to finalize our project title and register the project title and supervisor name at UniKL BMI FYP website.

REGISTRATION OF SUPERVISOR AND PROJECT TITLE:

• Going To Final Year Project Briefing at UniKL BMI.
• Write an Abstract for Final Year Project.
• Register Tittle on UniKL BMI Final Year Project Page.
• Done the registration of FYP tittle.

WEEK 1 FYP

Objectives   : o To find supervisor for FYP 1
                     o To find the project topic for FYP 1
Activities     : For the first week, we have to find supervisor from UniKL BMI that can help with our Final Year Project and find the project for my final year project subject.

For my FYP supervisor, i have decide to choose my Data Communication Engineering lecturer En. Ahmad Roshidi Bin Amran because i'll be doing a topic regarding telecommunication. I figured that lecturer from telecommunication section can help to guide me during this one year of project in Final Year Project.

As Data Communication Engineering student, i have decide to choose the topic that are related to the Data Communication as it is in major subject which have networking and wireless. The idea that come out of my mind is the child safety harness with wireless system and for the safety i have to put tracker on it. I also have noted the other title and project for my backup.

Abstract

Wireless communication is the transfer of information between two or more points that are not connected by an electrical conductor. In this project, transmitter and receiver circuit is used to make wireless sensor network system. A wireless sensor network consists of spatially distributed autonomous sensor  to monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, pressure and etc. and to cooperatively pass their data through the network to a main location. In this project, wireless is used to prevent from child missing or far away from parent. The alarm will be attach to the wireless system to alert user when the signal is missing because of the child are far away from their parents. Other than that, GPS tracker also will be attached to the wireless system to make sure the user know where are the location or coordinate of their kids. It is believed that this project can reduce the number of missing children
